CHILDREN’S BOOK WEEK BUNDLE

This limited Book Week edition includes a softcover copy of I Am a Yellow Ladybug and a Mia-inspired children’s costume at no additional cost.

We have a very limited number of children’s costume bundles available and want to make sure they reach children who will be using and enjoying them as part of their Book Week celebrations. Please only select a children’s option if the costume will be used.

Each children’s bundle includes:

• One softcover copy of I Am a Yellow Ladybug
• One Yellow Ladybug T-shirt in children’s size 10
• One tutu skirt in your selected children’s size
• One pair of rainbow knee-high socks
• Access to a digital Yellow Ladybug T-shirt design if the included T-shirt does not fit

If you would like the book without a costume, please order the separate hardcover edition.

CHILDREN’S T-SHIRT SIZING

The included T-shirt is available in one size only: children’s size 10. If the included T-shirt does not fit your child, you will also receive access to a digital Yellow Ladybug design file. This can be used with iron-on transfer paper or taken to a local T-shirt printing service and added to a plain yellow T-shirt in the size that best fits your ladybug. The digital file is for personal Book Week use only.

If none of the available skirt sizes are suitable, you can create a similar Yellow Ladybug look using a plain black tutu or skirt with colourful fabric circles or pom-poms attached. A rainbow or brightly coloured skirt, shorts or pants your child already owns and feels comfortable wearing would also work beautifully.

ADULT BOOK WEEK COSTUME PACK

We know some of our adult ladybugs will want to dress as Mia too, so we have made a very small number of adult costume packs available through this listing.

Each adult costume pack includes a soft cover book and:

• One adult tutu skirt in your selected size
• One Yellow Ladybug digital file iron-on transfer

The adult option does not include a Tshirt or rainbow socks.

The transfer can be added to your own plain yellow T-shirt, allowing you to choose the size, fit and fabric that feels most comfortable for you. To complete the Mia-inspired look, you can find a pair of rainbow knee-high socks, which may be available from local discount stores, party shops or costume retailers.

They are stretchy elastic - so please keep that in mind, Please check all measurements carefully before ordering. We have very limited quantities and cannot provide exchanges or refunds due to incorrect sizing or change of mind.

BOOK WEEK PHOTOS

We would love to see our children and adult Yellow Ladybugs enjoying Book Week. You are welcome to send us a photo if the person wearing the costume is comfortable being photographed and you are happy for us to share it through the Yellow Ladybugs social media pages. Sharing a photo is completely optional and is not a condition of ordering.

ABOUT THE BOOK

I Am a Yellow Ladybug follows Mia across four colourful stories inspired by real autistic experiences. Mia learns more about herself, navigates a tricky day at school, heads off on a big adventure and finds her own way to share her world.

Created by autistic writers and illustrators, I Am a Yellow Ladybug celebrates autistic identity and gives children a story in which their experiences, differences and ways of being can be understood and valued.

Created with younger primary readers in mind, the book may also be meaningful for older readers and adults who recognise parts of their own experiences in Mia.
